And yet it's being implied that I'm being dumb for not being excited by this victory. And I chose the Marquette game for a reason - the ridiculousness of the implication.
And, FWIW, I think JSU will finish higher in SWAC than MVSU, perhaps fringe-contention for auto-bid. Kind of splitting hairs, but it is what it is.

1. He's already proven he can do good things against high level competition.
2. He's hardly played this year. Rust is understandable. If you judged Heise on the first couple of games he didn't look that good.
Maybe Watson won't have much of a role this year and that's fine, but to make sweeping judgements off his first game seeing significant minutes is a total overreaction.
I don’t believe there are any coral reefs in Iowa so I expect Watson to get back to form sooner than later.
