Good thing is ISU often has one good half, and one bad. The bad half is out of the way. And we're not down by too many

Terrible half but the upside is it can't get much worse from a shooting standpoint. As soon as they went away from Osbey they weren't as effective, so it might be a good idea to take him away. As Osbey goes so goes OU.

The problem with double teaming Osby is that it leaves Grooms wide open at the top of the key. We did this the last time and Grooms put up 19 on us, mostly in the form of uncontested shots near the free-throw line.

Unlucky for ISU, teams that rely on 3 point shooting can't rely on things like 3 point shooting to carry them.

Lucky for ISU, they rely on 3 point shooting, so an 8 point defecit can go away quickly.

They have to make, what, 8, to get to their season average?

We are in it. Hopefully we won't go 1-12 from 3-point land in the 2nd half. Fred said we need to create the open looks (like we did early, only they didn't fall) rather than rushed shots, and we need to do better at rebounding.

CFH seems aware of the challenges, and I'm anxious to see what he does to address them. Go Cyclones!

I'm sure he's reminding them to play our game, be intense, and be smart. Just because they aren't falling for us doesn't mean we should give them extra easy opportunities. AND, stats are on our side for shooting next half.
