Guess that is why I'm a fan and not a coach. If we are up by 8 or up by 9, I dont see either being enough. 10 points feels safest, but yeah, that's why I posted it as a question, not a fact.

It's risk vs reward. Best case, you keep it a 2 possession game. Worst case, you turn a 2 possession game into a 1 possession game.
