Yep,
IIRC it was actually under thrown. He kind of "shot putted" it short.
I was going to correct that but you beat me to it. Our receiver was so wide open, our holder tried to just softly push the ball over to him (A shot put like you said). He put so much arch on it, it came down about 5 yards short and was actually intercepted. Happened right in front of me. Still get frustrated thinking about it. A sure victory just given away.

It’s crazy how Cincy and TCU can drop off so fast.

Cincy I’m not really sure how good they ever were, but they were at least dangerous. TCU obviously was very good to make and win a playoff game a year ago.

Cincy was pretty damn good the year they made the playoff. Went into South Bend and beat a pretty good Notre Dame team that year, and didn't embarrass themselves against Bama. Had an NFL QB as well.

I haven't "experienced" skyline chili, but based on descriptions and recipes, that's exactly my assessment.

Perhaps it's extremely tasty, but the combo doesn't entice me at all. Seems like the worst aspect of each.

If you're hesitant on the spaghetti, I'd just go with the coneys.

Chili dogs are like sex. Even when it's bad, it's still pretty good.

Rewatching the game as I missed most of it earlier, but the one massive difference I’m noticing between this year and last year is team chemistry. Specifically on Freylers tackle towards the end of the first half, Becht, Brahmer, and Noel were the first ones there hyping him up after the tackle. It’s possible I missed it last year, but there seems to be more camaraderie than last year. This is of course just my speculation, which is about as good as a kick in the pants

They had Jerome Ford and Alec Pierce also who are NFL players and of course Sauce Gardner. That's a pretty stacked team for the American.

Ugh...watching from the NW side, can see that vividly....hanging in the air....a moment of "we got this!" as the fake fake started .. .then an easy INT
