ISU beat OSU. Why would they need them to lose again? What am I missing?

Three-way and four-way scenarios if ISU wins out (thanks to mred's generator):

ISU/OU/OSU/Texas: OSU gets first for complicated reasons. OU gets second for beating ISU and Texas.

ISU/OU/OSU: OSU gets first for beating KU when OU and ISU didn't. OU gets second for beating ISU.

ISU/OSU/Texas: OSU gets first for beating OU when the other two didn't. ISU gets second for beating Texas.

ISU/OU/Texas: OU gets first for beating ISU and Texas. ISU gets second for beating Texas.

TD Noel! Great play design, shifting Noel multiple times to see what D would do and get them out of positions. Also, salty downfield block by Dmitry Stanley

Are these announcers right? If we win-out we’re in the title game? I don’t think that’s right.
Unfortunately, OU has to lose for us to be in the CCG. I know this because of MRed’s awesome calculator.

@alarson why do you keep disagreeing? OSU has now lost 3, KU has lost 3, and ISU only has 2 conference losses. OU, ISU, and KSU have two and Texas has one. If ISU wins out, they would own the tie over Texas because they would have beat them and they would have two conference losses. KSU obviously would have three at that point. If OU wins out, then it would be ISU vs OU. What are you disagreeing with?
OSU has 2
