Serious? RG3 is the best or one of the best and smartest players in the nation. Take him away and we'd beat Baylor by 14 with any of their recent QB's who aren't him. We GAVE them the 2 score lead with the fumble. We also continue to make dumb penalties that kill our momentum. RG3 is the difference in the game. If you are actually impressed with Baylors D at all you're ridiculous.

Their defense is holding us to 20 points, so I guess you think they would only score 7 without Griffin.

Outside of the four offsides penalties in crucial situations I wouldn't even put this on the defense (ironic, considering they gave up 35 of the 42 points).

The offense is just so sad per usual. No creativity. Draw, out pass, bubble screen, punt. That seems to be all that is ever called, and the defense always knows what's coming before the offense even comes to the line.

The sheer number of 3-and-outs from this game is simply inexcusable.

Agree, the defense hasn't done great but at least you can tell what they are trying to do and RGIII is a man. Plus the defense has gotten several stops tonight, you just cannot keep putting them back out there like this.

we don't play in the big 10 -- this staff is going from 6 wins to 5 wins to 4 wins. We can't touch anyone but KU. But CPR really wants to be here and understands ISU and what to do here ........ suck!!!!!

I think CPR was on the horn to Herman...our offense has been terrible. I have been an apologist for him (using the he doesn't have his players for his offense excuse) but his scheme and game planning just isn't very good.

Agreed, I am not much of a "fire the coach" type of guy, but his offensive scheme is laughable. I know ISU scored on the Branderhorst catch, but I can't believe you would line up in shotgun and pass when you are 12 inches from the goal line.

LOL. That was also the game where we had the incredible sequence of penalties in the red zone and then missed the field goal.

Chizik teams were extremely disciplined.

Oh hey, that's something I can do to cheer myself up! Forgot they probably had another meltdown.

But seriously, Baylor is pretty good. We shot ourselves in the foot quite a bit (again) and our D played poorly. Baylor is a good team though. No question about that. They're ranked in the top 25 for a reason. We'll regroup and come back next week. Hopefully playing much better than the past 2 weeks...
