A little realism for you all: Prohm can miss the tourney this year and next and he’s still not going anywhere unless he wants to. Look how many ways it takes to rationalize your stance against him, like “the sweet 16 wasn’t his players” or “no one cares about big 12 tourney wins” or “his top 25 class is only that high because of the number of players”. Truth is he’s accomplished as much as any coach we’ve ever had not named Larry Eustachy. And actually Larry has more bad seasons to his credit than Prohm.

This post is filled with BS. And it takes nothing to rationalize a stance against him. Just look at the results. We have been bottom feeders 2 out of the last 3 years and next year looks weak again. Our “peak year” with his players was a team than underperformed relative to talent and finished .500 in conference.

Or for a comparison - The past 3 years have been below the success level that Wayne Morgan had in his 3 years, and Pollard canned him

It's ugly now, no doubt. I just hope for the best. I like Steve but if there isn't improvement next year it's time to move on.
