You also have to remember these kids are life long Iowa fans. Fans that have saw ISU be the better program over the past 25 years. So ya it does mean something to them. That said ISU should set up and beat them year in year out.

Whatever. Iowa played up this game by leaking to the media that Wieskamp isn't playing just to start him and play Pemsl who was "ruled out for the season". Iowa was playing mind games just like their football team. We also need to match Iowa's intensity in these rivalry games, Iowa wanted it way more.

Do you think Iowa cares more because they have more players actually from the state? Seriously, not talking sh*t. Would be hard to root for an entire roster (other than annoying Jacobsen now) from out of state. You've got to admit if half your team was from Iowa, you'd be more proud of their accomplishments.

Kudos to Iowa for shooting the ball really well tonight but to dismiss we are missing 40% of the starting lineup is short sighted. ISU is going to be fine and Im still holding on IowA
