This one. The Alamo Bowl is a fun trip, if we lose no biggy, if we win great.

It's the same thing for this basketball game.

The rest of the non-conference, and conference season decide if ISU goes to the NCAA tournament. Some in-state rivalry game in December does not.

I agree; maybe a little harder to do with Wiggs out. But if we go cold shooting (which is a weakness with our team), we're gonna have to try to score in transition and force pace.
Also, need to be careful with fouls - Iowa gets to the line and they have (4) guys who can hit 85%. A couple times they have been in double bonus with 5+ min remaining.
I don't want some of our guys on the bench with 20fouls and > 10 min remaining in first half.

Hasn't been a problem yet without Wiggs, not sure how that changes tonight minus Iowa playing out of their minds as expected.

And this team hasn't had to every force pace--they look absolutely comfortable no matter what kind of pace it is. The halfcourt and transition offense has been quite incredible, actually.

Yeah, my hatred from years ago has waned since I don't live in eastern Iowa any more so I don't get 2 page articles featuring a 3rd string quarterback, but I get it.

If Iowa wins tonight it will just be annoying but some things like rebounding (Garza's best move is a put back) and how to play vs. a zone (Iowa will play it better tonight) might be positive lessons out of it.

He is yelling “TWO HANDS!!!” Despite what people think, this video wasn’t at a basketball game. It was recorded when a 2 year old spilled their glass of milk on his living room couch.

Guys saying this game over the bowl are out of their minds. I hate the Hawkeyes as much as the next guy but it's the freaking Alamo bowl. It's not like we are going to some crappy outback bowl or something. Geez guys.
