Once again it's Groundhog day. Winning numbers in all stat categories except one. 14 turnovers.
Just not a good passing team. And the degree of difficulty of some other their passes is too high for a not good passing team. They are also bad at receiving passes. Basically all things passing.

Actual wins and losses matter, because of so many games played the impact of margins minimized.
Well of course that matters more but when it comes to improving your seed it all matters. I like that we clear the bench but there is a reason you see it so much less these days.

Tech goes down. The Cyclones have a nice path to the 2 seed even if they lose Saturday, all of A&M, Purdue and Tech losing today really helped the cause.

Would really like to see us get back up on the 1 line but we're going to need a lot of SEC chaos for that to happen I fear (A&M losing helps us get back on the 2, but we're goinna need Bama, Florida, and/or Tenn to lose a few more games). Probably would also need to beat Houston.

That game was a formality after about 25 minutes. Not saying I'll scoff at "pleasant" conference wins.
If it were baseball, that felt a game when you would see a position player pitching that made it look closer than it was.

Winning out, winning B12 tourney, and someone above us tanking still probably won’t be enough for a 1 seed at this point, IMO.

At this point, I’m just hoping for the top 2 seed so we can get out of Auburn’s bracket.

They showed during the TCU game that tech projects as a 4 seed. That can’t be right can it?

Crap cover by Colorado. If this game was earlier in the year TJ leaves the starters in for a larger pt margin. CU has nothing to play for so might as well beat up on 3rd stringers to say they won the last minute.

From Bracket Matrix, A&M and Purdue losing helps, but probably need to beat Houston to stick comfortably on the 2 line. Wiscy currently winning too.

1 seed was on life support after UA. They harvested the organs after KSU.

Cannot be that careless with passing and ball handling on Saturday
That is what I am worried about. We are letting lesser def teams force a lot of turnovers. Houston's def is no joke. I hope we are ready to really battle on saturday.

Yes it matters you are right

But 25 games the impact on the numbers is minimal . Otz realized it to or starters would have stayed out there

ISU seed at this point is strictly going to be based on who they beat or lose to

Glad they more or less coasted tonight, got bigger fish to fry come Saturday. Houston does struggle at home, a great opportunity

The analytics crowd needs to chill a bit after that one. The game was never in doubt. Yes, they backdoored, but we had two guys play just over 30 minutes. Jefferson and jones just over a half of basketball. Saturday is the focus and the end of this game showed that. I can almost guarantee our numbers won’t change much after that one.

Position players really only come in to pitch if they are the team getting crushed and have already used 7-8 pitchers.

The bench was cleared at about 1:30 left.
