Honestly I hope Watson returns. Hopefully he can push Mitchell for minutes at the three when Milan sits. Also hoping if Watson doesn’t take a leap forward offensively Mitchell turns out to be the better option. Regardless Watson can give us solid minutes. Basically an acceptable option that won’t hurt us.
I sure wanted Watson to return. Sadly, the coaching staff viewed him through a different lens,
Watson reminds me a bit of Terrence Lewis. Great bench guy, but lacking the needed TJ/staff skills, across the board.
Every time TL or DW tossed up a shot, I prayed it would drop. More often than not, Nope.

ESPN released their final 2025 ranking.

Bateman at #74
Mitchell at #89

ESPN isn't the best source even still lists Moore as a commit but still good to see them as 4 stars.

Anyone know when this class arrives (HS and transfers)? I know it is in June sometime. It is the off season and love their summer workout clips they put out.

Why? He’ll be off to the NBA in two years, at most.

I don't know if he is that good or not. However, every recruit is a one year recruit these days. WE might be able to rerecuit them and get them their money for year two and three and possibly 4. However, I can't get excited about guys that get a 4th year of eligibilty before they are even enrolled. Hopefully it becomes a big deal some day and we can keep the kid for 4 years.

Not wrong, but TJ has done extremely well at retaining talent here. Outside of losing Hunter after TJ’s first year, we haven’t lost anyone to the portal that we weren’t already pushing out.

(Knock on wood)

See, that’s the thing. Either he’s good enough to play as a true frosh (and I think he is), or, like Nojus, he’s off to greener pastures.

And if he’s good enough to play with these guys, that’s significant.

I think he’s in the top three interior rotation, Jefferson-Buchanan-Pleta, then Mulser.

Mostly for Jefferson, but I think the two can do rude things to opponents on the floor together.
