Grant Basile is from Pewaukee but he went to Virginia Tech. You're thinking of Ben Vander Plas, the Ohio transfer who went to Virginia, who was literally named after Tony Bennett (his dad and Tony were/are good friends) and is from Ripon, WI.

Matt Thomas nearly picked Virginia over ISU. All came down to wanting to stay closer to home.

Momcilovic working the paint and high post with his elite scoring ability paired with Biliew in the short corner with elite athleticism and dunking ability could be a absolutely lethal combination. Think Niang with a five star talent for him to dump the ball to in the short corner if the defense collapses.
