"Johnathan Lawson brothers squad, Oregon, became one of Lawson’s first scholarship offers extended this Spring.

“Alabama, Vanderbilt, Iowa State, Mizzou, Tulane, LSU, Arkansas, Indiana, Nebraska, Syracuse and USC, are also involved,” Lawson told Stockrisers.com.

Due to his breakout coming just recently and this season, Lawson wasn’t really able to take his visits so he has taken advantage of the new virtual visit tool that coaches have been using.

“I’ve taken virtual visits with Arkansas and Iowa State,” he said.

Update with Alden Applewhite.

"Memphis native Alden Applewhite had a spectacular year with Houston High School after transferring there last fall. The 6-foot-6 wing watched his recruitment take new heights after this year and it included several new offers both then and now during COVID-19.

Among the programs involved? “TCU, Iowa State, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, St.Johns, Xavier, amongst others. Out of this list, Iowa State is the most recent offer for him and the staff, spearheaded by Steve Prohm, completed a virtual visit with Applewhite."

"The point guard depth in the 2021 class is not promising, which makes it crucially important that programs strike early this fall if they need a playmaking agent on the court. One of the best available, Rivals150 standout Tyrese Hunter, has become a hot topic of late.

Hunter is in no rush to make his college decision and plans to enjoy the recruiting process as much as he can during these uncertain times. The expectation is that he will not commit until the fall, at the earliest. Florida, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Louisville, Marquette and Virginia Tech are among those that have invested the most into his recruitment.

He has visited Louisville unofficially but is hoping to take all of his official visits before coming to a final decision."

@jakeweingarten Iowa State’s Steve Prohm and staff will virtually host Top-rated JUCO guard El Ellis for his virtual visit tomorrow, he told @Stockrisers.
Cyclones offered him nearly two months ago. Have been on him heavy.

According to one of his previous retweet’s we’d already had a virtual visit with him too.

Also it sounds like everyone and their mom is making him a priority. Would be a huge huge get.

Top-75 junior Alex Fudge talks recruitment

The dynamic two-way forward finds himself as a national priority and many see him as one of the most polished forwards in the class. One month ago, he said that “Texas A&M, Texas, Georgia, Georgia Tech Wake Forest, VT and Iowa State and USC are amongst the schools on me right now.” Now, that list has expanded, drastically.
Iowa State: “Iowa state was one of the first high majors to offer, Coach Prohm made it known that they wanted me and Iowa State is the best place to be.”

Considering his uptick in HM interest it'll be a battle. Fudge though has consistently mentioned ISU in every interview I've seen. Alex seems to be genuinely intrigued by the Staff, he may stay in the SE in the end but I expect ISU to be in his final cut list and a real option for him.

Bit of on the new target Bates.
https://basketballrecruiting.rivals...rizona-s-direction-five-star-commitment-watch
"Even though four-star shooting guard Tamar Bates hasn't been able to hit the grassroots circuit with his summer team KC Run GMC, his recruitment continues to thrive.
Bates recently won the DiRenna Award as the Kansas City area's top high school player after a big junior season at Piper High School. He's a smooth scorer who is comfortable attacking off the dribble or shooting jumpers and will head to powerhouse Bradenton (Fla.) IMG for his senior year.
Already holding offers from Creighton, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Northwestern, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and many others, Bates has added four more high major offers in the last month. Alabama started things at the end of April and then in the last two weeks Iowa State, Oregon and Colorado also jumped in with offers.
Bates doesn't appear to be in any kind of rush to make a decision and has been on campus at Creighton, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri and Oklahoma State thus far."
