Tallahassee Community College’s El Ellis had himself quite the season. Appeared in 33 games with TCC and averaged 14.5 points per game and shot the ball 45% from the field.
“Iowa State, NC State, Louisville, Wake Forest, UConn, ECU, New Mexico, Wichita State, Ole Miss,” are amongst those involved for Ellis.
Those with new interest include Florida State and Maryland. With everything going on, I expect schools to get a deeper look at Ellis and more offers will likely go out to him.

@jakeweingarten Tallahassee CC’s El Ellis just told @Stockrisers that he will have his virtual call with Nebraska’s Fred Hoiberg on Wednesday. They were involved early, not as heavily, but now will make push.
Virginia Tech and Marquette are the newest programs to get involved with Tallahassee CC’s El Ellis, he told @Stockrisers.

Wonder how much ISU is still involved? Seems like they should be considering all the spots to fill.

He is 2021 so not sure this years roster opening affect him much. DeJulius committing as another PG coming in with 2 years could factor in.
ISU is heavily involved at this point as once of his first offers and he has mentioned the staff is in constant contact in every interview he's given.

@jakewingarten Highly-rated JUCO prospect El Ellis has set up more virtual visits for next week, he told @Stockrisers:

Monday: Iowa State
Tuesday: UConn
Thursday: Wake Forest

Has already done virtual calls with Ole Miss, Nebraska and Louisville. I expect more schools to get involved.

"Junior wing Isaiah Barnes has been one of the hottest prospects in the Midwest as he continues to rack up high-level offers.

A 6-foot-7 scorer who played his last two seasons at Oak Park (Ill.) and River Forest, Barnes will be transferring for his senior year but that hasn’t hurt his recruitment at all. Home-state Illinois was the first high major school to offer last June. In the last month, though, Barnes has added offers from Georgia, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Saint Louis, TCU and Wisconsin.

I’ve now watched a few games from Barnes' junior season on film and a few things stand out. One, he’s still a bit inconsistent but two, he has gotten much stronger physically and become a more dynamic athlete since last summer. He handles the ball pretty well, has some feel as a passer and is a streaky shooter with confidence who can put up points quickly when he gets on a heater from deep.

Whether we’ll get to see him play any summer basketball is still to be determined, but Mike Mullins, the program director and coach of Barnes' Illinois Wolves team, is high on him.

“Isaiah has grown a couple inches to 6-foot-7 and has matured physically as well as adding weight and strength simultaneously,” said Mullins. “His athleticism increased as a result of that physical development. He has put extra time on his skills and the combination of all those factors has excited the schools previously recruiting him as well as adding new interest.”

A new name for the 2021 class Brandon Weston.

https://stockrisers.com/2020/05/05/...-will-not-reclass-talks-national-recruitment/

Morgan Park’s Brandon Weston describes himself as a ‘position less player’ who can guard all positions. Rated as a four-star recruit by 247Sports, he’s rated as the No. 61 player overall and 77th in the outlets composite rankings.

We started off our detailed conversation addressing a rumor that has been circling around Weston: “Will you reclassify to the 2020 class.”

Weston’s answer: “I have no plans on reclassifying to 2020.”

Now, he is being heavily pursued by several programs, many of whom would’ve taken him for either class.

“Pittsburgh has recently offered, Wake Forest’s new staff re-offered, Seton Hall, St. John’s, Illinois, Nebraska, Arizona State, Saint Louis, UAB, Iowa state, UMass, are amongst those involved,” Weston said. In addition, he says that schools are continuing to get involved and that there’s many new schools that have reached out.

“New Schools with interest: Clemson, Florida, Miami, Iowa State, Dayton, Cincinnati.”

@MatthewBain_ Per source, Iowa State is set to virtually visit tomorrow with a pair of 2021 Memphis products: 4-star SF Johnathan Lawson (@Lawgang8) and 3-star SF Alden Applewhite (@AldenApplewhit3).

The Cyclones have offered both and are looking to build on Tyler Harris momentum in Memphis.
Wonder if either could reclassify

Is that another brother from the Dedric and KJ family?

Edit: it is.

Or we are somewhat moving on from 2020.
Because they’re recruiting 2021 guys?

You may be correct, but I think they’re simply doing their jobs.

I don’t think we’ve moved on, but a good surprise wouldn’t hurt

Wasn’t the cousin supposed to be the best of the bunch or has that changed? Or was it a brother who was supposed to be?

Nice. I thought I read they were Cousins.

Here's the article I saw, but couldn't link from my phone. It does say they're brothers, and he may be the best of the bunch, but a lot could have changed in the two years after this was published.
