Proving that he is one of the best off-guards in America last weekend at the Under Armour Association Chicago, Murrell discussed what he brings to the floor.
“I defend. I take on the best player on the other team. You play hard on defense, it is just going to make offense easier,” he said. “The coaches love it. They say that most players my age don’t have the intensity like me on defense.”
Florida, Iowa State, Memphis, NC State, Ole Miss, and Tennessee are the six schools that Murrell feels as if are making him a priority.

Iowa State: “They were actually the first school to offer me. It was nice to have a school like that come to see me in Memphis and like me like that.”

It's always nice when a kids first response is "I defend". Not I can dunk, my vert is this high, I average this many points, but I defend.

@coreyevans_10 Limited big man 2020 class makes a guy like Jamille Reynolds even more valuable. Massive presence down low with hands and a decent motor. Really good so far today. Iowa State, OK State, Miami and Florida involved with the big fella

I hate recruiting against Bruce Pearl. Not only is he a salesmen, he also cheats, he also had a great team last season. So basically if he can't sell the kid, he can just pay him. Not like Auburn is against paying kids. Ugh

Seems like a backup plan if Lewis doesn't progress or Leech isn't full go. Hopefully we get Tucker giving Leech a year to work himself back to athletic freak.

Good info on Ben from Bain.
With the way his recruitment has taken off it will be a dog fight to get him to Ames. ISU is squarely on his radar, especially with his Dad's connection and he obviously likes Prohm. The current roster is set up for a PF/C next year (likely a reason ISU hasn't been linked to any post Transfers) to go all out for Foster and Carlson.
