Actually I would bet most new Shayok since ISU played against him last year.
But I agree with you. The spring hasn't been great to the basketball team.
Spring wasn't a smashing success but we still have enough talent that if we can add 2-3 more good pieces in 2018 we should be fine going forward.
Totally agree. Just a shame we couldn't land a few of those guys. But we'll be good in another year....no question.
I just don't think people on the board should be chastised because they find a guy mediocre or not a great recruit. It happens.
95% of us had no idea who any of the transfers or Juiston were before we were mentioned as being involved with them. Don't knock Shayock just because you didn't know who he was.
Didnt knock him....i follow the HS kids much closer than potential transfers.
And at least spell his name right expert.

By saying "95% of us had never heard of him" were you not implying that he wasn't that big of a recruit? If not, what point were you even trying to make?
Nothing negative. If someone keeps tabs on guys we played once and remember him...I tip my cap.
I'm just guessing most didn't remember him, because how do you keep track of everyone. Im sure he will be a great addition.
I know for a fact he was a plan A guy and they were very very excited they got him

I will go on record with my talent seeking eye. I said no way on Kane because he would be a locker room cancer. I also said Matt Thomas should transfer to Drake after his sophomore year because he is not talented enough to play in the big 12. So from then on. I decided maybe did not know squat and I should just look at the possitives when we recruit a kid. Its easier that way than saying no way, then looking like an idiot when the kid becomes all big 12 or All American.

Stansbury will be there two more years and then a high major will snag him. If you can recruit like that to Western Kentucky. You will get a next level job. Now can he coach.
