Not saying Sexton will choose ISU but Fred didn't really like recruiting high schoolers at all
Well Fred did sure spend a lot of time recruiting Diallo and Vaughn and laid an egg with both when we were oh so confident we had them locked up
Diallo would have came here if Fred didn't go to the Bulls but you already knew that
Yeah and Vaughn gave every indication that he was coming here all the way up until he didn't. But we just couldn't offer his "handler" the same offer UNLV could.
Maybe if we all change our avatars to Sexton, amirite?

If we can, I think we sign 6 guys this fall. When was the last season we didn't have a player transfer out at mid-semester or in the spring? So even if we sign six this fall, more than likely we will have a scholarship available next spring.
If the right 6 come around, then you take 6. But that's usually not how recruiting works. 5 would be my guess, unless a good mid-year transfer comes available, and in that case I would think Prohm would be all over him.
I just don't think we will. Not necessarily on purpose but I'll be floored if we sign 6 in the fall.
I'd be surprised if we even signed 5 this fall. I'd say 4 is most likley. Two prep recruits and two JUCOs. Then we take our time with the last two over the year. We'll probably get at least one grad transfer, if not two.
I prefer quality over quantity in the fall. There are always transfers available that can at least plug obvious holes.

I will be stunned if we find six guys that we want that are willing to sign this fall. If we already had 3, then I would say 6 is possible, but I do not think it is likely that we find 6 guys between now and November that we actually want that are ready to sign with us. Would love to be wrong and see us land 6 guys that have offers.
@GophersMarcus Mckinley Wright, who just cut his list to 5, including Minnesota, said he still plans to commit in October after taking his official visits.
