Hoopseen published their commitment watch for this week. They have been pretty good in naming commitments over the past few weeks and did call the Lewis and McNeill commitments the Friday prior to his visit.

Two interesting tid bits, they list Stokes as one of five possible commitment this weekend. Also Oregon is hosting 3 highly ranked guards, if any were to commit it could help ISU's cause with Wiggington.

IOWA STATE
We recently broke things down for the Big 12 Conference as to where things stand in the 2017 class for its league’s affiliates. While it may surprise some, Iowa State is sitting atop of the conference’s class rankings thanks to the commitments of top-125 recruits Darius McNeill and Terrence Lewis, along with upside big man KeyShawn Feazell. This weekend, Steve Prohm’s bunch takes the spotlight once again as they bring in two, top-100 targets to campus. Lindell Wigginton, an excellent combo guard option and one of the most competitive seniors in all of the land, hits the Ames campus; ISU and Oregon seem to be in a dogfight for the tip top guard out of the Oak Hill Academy program. Joining him will be IMG big man Isaiah Stokes. After visiting Tennessee last weekend, might the Big 12 bunch be able to force the big fella’s hand and receive a commitment from a polished, space eating center from the 2017 class?

PREDICTION OF THE WEEKEND
VIRGINIA TECH GETS ITS GUY IN WABISSA BEDE

OTHER POSSIBLE COMMITMENTS

SEAN MOBLEY COMMITS TO VCU
ISAIAH STOKES COMMITS TO IOWA STATE
PAUL REED COMMITS TO KANSAS STATE
MICHAEL HUEITT COMMITS TO OLD DOMINION

I feel like we have a better chance at a Wigginton than a Stokes commit by the end of next week. No reason for this other than Wigginton seems to have pared down his list to us and Oregon and we are balls-deep on his recruitment. Stokes has some good options to think about with later visits.

I guess I'll have to wait on more commitments.

Lindell has two more officials and didn't comment after Oregon or us which makes me think he'll be silent until he is done. Stokes doesn't tweet as much so harder to get a read on.

Did Lewis make it to campus this past weekend for his official? I didn't hear his name mentioned with all the talk about Wigginton and Stokes.

Stokes just retweeted a tweet from a North Carolina fan. Not good, you guys.

It's looking like Stokes is going to take his time with the process. That doesn't mean we won't get him, but I doubt we get a commitment from him in the near future.

Hopefully Wigginton decides to end it quickly and we get him locked up.
