Wright is good but would much rather have some of the other guys. However if they got Wright I wouldn't be upset. Think he could become a good player as an upperclassman. I think Sims actually has the biggest upside of the two but might be the hardest to get because his dad played for Minnesota.

My ideal, realistic scenario, if that makes sense, is getting Wright, Lewis and Feazell in the fall, adding a JUCO scoring guard/wing and JUCO PF in the spring and banking one scholarship for a 5th-year grad transfer next summer.

Most of the good JUCOs seem to sign in the fall, so I'd rather see them pick a couple up then. We'll see what we have in Jakolby soon, but from where I sit, it seems like a JUCO wing who can really put the ball in the bucket is a big need, as both Babb and Jakolby have more of a reputation of being three and d guys. Does McThree have any mini-me siblings floating around somewhere?

I doubt we would go watch him play right away if we didn't think we had a chance.

Agree.... Having a chance so still pursuing . Your statement of "being pretty confident" had me wondering is all.

Lindell Wigginton tells me that Louisville, Iowa State and Oregon are showing most interest right now.

Not sure which one (or two) at this point Top PG Prohm will land but he'll feeling confident he'll get his replacement for Morris by the end of the summer. Obvious focus of the staff.

Great news on the Wigginton front. Probably an Oregon lean but I'm glad we're still involved

All solid programs, but I wouldn't consider those blue bloods going after Sexton. I'm sure there will be many more opportunities for KU, UK, Duke, UNC and others to watch him though.

I'd absolutely love to get Sexton but if he continues to play the way he's played the past few months I would be quite surprised if the blue bloods don't offer him.

Paul Biancardi on Bleacher Report quotes Sexton as telling ESPN that the schools recruiting him as a priority are AZ, KU, AL, UGA, GT, TX; and LSU. No mention of ISU so I would say that ship has sailed.

Collin Sexton still has ISU on his radar and wants to visit. Ship has far from sailed.
Alex Halsted interview just published today.

“I’m trying to get to Arizona for sure, Florida, Texas and Iowa State," he said."

Makes me crazy mad when someone says a ship has sailed and we later find out it hasn't set sail.
