Getting Gilbert back to man up Jizzy on Defense is a major bonus to ISU today.
I'd like to see him get back into an offensive groove before the NCAA tourney. Don't force it but ease in to get confidence his injury is improving.

Even though it was a blowout the Pokes pushed hard until about the 3 minute mark. Hoping yesterday's track meet has Cincy gassed.
Nice to have KG back, they have great guards and we'll need him to defend those guys. Offensively, when he's not forcing things and is letting the game come to him, it seems like our ball movement is at its best. Cincy isn't a great defensive team so playing sound on offense should get us some easy baskets. Move the ball, make the easy plays and they shouldn't be able to stop us.
Ehhh Cincy has the #21 defense per KP. They’re pretty good defensively. Offensively they’re 98th.

Yep! Force them into tough jumpers, box out and limit turnovers. Do those things and our odds are solid.
They are not a great offensive team. When we played them last year, we defended them really well, but they hit a bunch of really difficult shots to stay in the game.
Great time to reset the season at our home away from home. I think we are going to come out dialed in, and take care of the Bearcats. Go Cyclones!!
As long as Jizzle doesn’t shoot all over us again (no pun intended) I think we’ll be able to defend and keep them at an arms length.
