Gabe doesn't have a good handle and is hesitant with the ball - not good when he starts playing good defensive teams which is pretty much the Big 12.

I was actually hoping they'd have to cancel so we could play someone better. Oh well, Big 12 play on deck.

You know what going to change my opinion from earlier, because I think if they did play someone better they might be more focused. UNI and Drake would get their attention.

Also these types of games refs will call more ticky tack stuff a better team they let them play a bit more.

Gabe really needs to get some confidence. He has had a few wide open looks and appears he is about to shoot it, but then looks to pass. If we can get him and Caleb shooting intandem watch out!

This reminds me a little of the Jackson State game. They gave us a taste of our own medicine with their high pressure/denial defense and we didn't like it. Scored only 47 points that night. Halfway through this first half, Chicago State decided to do the same thing and it worked. Until we figure out how to handle it, we'll see more of the same down the road.

I wonder why Rob Jones isn't getting any minutes. When I see the potential foul troubles I would like to see him getting some minutes in this kind of game.

Some people are ragging on Gabe, and yes he struggled during the bad stretch but he wasn't the only one. And he had a couple of sharp passes early in the half and some hustle plays. If anyone coiuld finish at the rim the lead would be about 10 points bigger.
