Ugh, hate that first early game. I was there in 2020 when we lost on a last second shot to OSU and then they cleared the arena for COVID.
That’s the beauty of it though eh? We’re not the first early game of the tournament. Cincinnati and OSU have to play the actual earliest game the day before.

That made us the last team to lose . . .
and remain the reigning Big 12 champion!

This week the new 11:30 feels like the old 10:30. May need to watch for lane changes in the south bound I35 while traveling.

Let’s see if OSU and WVU are up for a rematch like KSU was. BYU be danged.

A bit interesting both Okie State-Cincy & Colorado-TCU played yesterday and have to turn right around and play Tuesday again. Watch the outcomes will be vice versa of what happened on Saturday.

Barring a letdown against Oklahoma State/Cincinnati, another crack at BYU this soon after the 2OT loss is a great opportunity. Not sure it affects tournament seeding that much, but a little revenge can't hurt our momentum!

Is anyone feeling good enough about NCAA site to book rooms and tickets yet? Last time I tried i guessed wrong.

What are the chances they resurface the ugly floor before the men's tournament following the womem's?

Wins over BYU, Houston, and Tech in 3 consecutive days would certainly give us our swagger back.
I’m not going to hold my breath for anything that ISU does as far as positive results in the B12 tournament will affect where the committee seeds the team. Last year’s tournament results didn’t seem to help where they got seeded, and the committee used the NCSOS excuse to seed name brand teams ahead of the Cyclones. History shows that the committee has never been kind to Iowa State. If ISU doesn’t win the conference tournament, I can see the committee using the losses to KSU and OSU as justification for a four seed. If the Cyclones do manage to win the conference tournament, I don’t believe that the committee will seed them any higher than the 3rd or 4th three seed. I hope that I’m wrong, but I will be personally very surprised if the committee gives ISU the benefit of the doubt and and a favorable seed.

Make hotel reservations now that you can cancel at no cost. I have done that for 30-years of NCAA Tournaments. You don’t want to try to make hotel reservations when everyone else is making their reservations.

Most likely will win the first game, but potential consecutive matchups with BYU and Houston is real tough. Probably the 2 current best teams in the conference (and BYU's style of play has proven to be a bad matchup for us)
