Milan being completely absent was concerning. Double digits in 8 of our first 9 BigXII games, only twice in the last 9. Not a huge swing on average, but certainly trending the wrong way. If would be nice to see him get a shot or two early in the next game and make him an option when we need a bucket.

Milan needs to adjust his game. Teams pick up tendacies.

What's also pathetic are those who can't differentiate general criticism of refs from taking the position that the poor officiating was outcome determination. That's really ******* pathetic
It's so fascinating to see how people on this board rationalize who is responsible for the outcome of the game. I think the team should focus on what they can control. But if it makes you feel better to blame the refs - that's your prerogative.

Go get-em Lawman!

If we do face KSU again in the Big 12 tournament, which seems very possible, our big guys will have to out tough their bigs or the result will likely be the same.

Just for fun - I thought some facts may be helpful.

I know that's a foreign concept on this board, but facts can be useful.

Going back through this thread, there are 396 references to officiating. 35%

We have a problem people. Please stop blaming the refs for our poor play.
Our poor play was our players fault. ****** refereeing is the refs fault. I don't believe we are confusing the two.

Maybe your can stop blaming the people on the board for pointing out how crappy the ref team did THEIR job.

Again - I know it's hard.

As you noted through your sophisticated post that stated: "your can stop blaming the people on the board for pointing out how crappy the refs did THEIR job". Trust me, I hold the refs accountable for their jobs. Please know, I am passionate about good/bad officiating.

My message to all of us as fans is... can we please stop blaming the officials every time.

Let's focus on what Iowa State can control and needs to do to win.

Well I'll admit guilt when I'm guilty. I complained about the refs. My bad. I think the overly physical brand of basketball that is being played in college now really draws the spotlight onto the officials (fairly or not). I will echo the sentiment that consistency is more of an issue than outright poor calls.

I think if we all take the ISU glasses off there are other teams that think we get away with fouling all game with our defense. we are all guilty of this.

i personally have always said you have not put things in the officials hands.
there was at least 100 different times we had chances to make plays and did the opposite today. sometimes its just not your day, but our offense has been in trouble for a few games now. something you don't like seeing before two tournaments.

What I love about TJ's philosophy is that he always wants to impose his will on the other team, to dictate the game. If we lose, at least we lose on our terms, not the other team's. Today, for whatever reason, we were unable to impose our will on KSU for the last 30 minutes of the game.

FFS, who is blaming our loss on the refs?

Nobody

Nobody is blaming the refs for ISU’s performance.
People are blaming the refs for the ****** officiating.

Learn the ******* difference.
