Just finished watching the game as I had to record it. Great second half. Shocked that Iowa was able to contain Gilbert. Not shocked that Iowas shot out of their minds in the first half as they always shot their wand against a us at carver. Curtis and Joshua were absolute dawgs tonight and glad to see Tamin start to trend the right way.

Only negative I would have is Milan. Still early in the season, but afraid he’s still going to be very inconsistent throughout the season. The potential is there for him to be great though. Hope he puts it all together.

There will be a lot of nights where Milan gets an effortless 12-20 pts. A guy like him is part of why we have #3 adjusted offense.

And it's why you keep him out there even if he's not hitting.

He's a threat every single time he touches the ball and defenses have to shade for it.

Jefferson has been a threat from the arc too and it looks like he hit one. That's two guys that can also give you a tough time inside so it's hell on a defense.

I'm not sure how good they are.
The little squakeyes are probably a bubble team. They are currently 45th in KenPom and 29th in Offensive Efficiency, gave 14th ranked Michigan all they could handle on the road. I think the Big 10 is rather "meh", so if the Hoks can keep up their scoring pace, there's a path for them to get to the dance. The point I was driving at was that that Cyclones beating a decent team on the road is commendable. Hopefully this will hold up as a quad 1 win come tournament seeding time.

Just get a hand in his face and he's not much.
It's funny that he almost declared early. That dude would get worked over so fast in that league. I've always maintained that he's a slower, less athletic version of Joe Wieskamp, who also hasn't been able to hack it in the league

Finding his way & niche with the team. His passing skills as a forward are very Niang-esque. That's when he's at his best. Not a pick & pop from 3 guy like George's from the wings & top of the key, but has great vision & ability to pass when spaces exist. Loved his aggressiveness tonight on the boards. He & Dishon did serious men's work on the blocks tonight. Great win
We all loved Big Rob Energy and Hassan Ward, but the Presidents are taking ISU's post game to the next level. Big, mobile and skilled, these two are elevating the Cyclones into Final Four contention.
