I can understand losing. What I can not abide as a fan is a thorough and complete boat racing. Those need to stay buried back in the Prohm era.
Meh it happens. We were down 13 and I thought just starting to get some momentum. All of a sudden we're down 20. BYU handled the defense very well and took advantage of their open looks.

It reminds me of Tyrese Hunter a few years ago. With so many non-threat teammates he’s finding himself having to force the issue. And our jump shooting isn’t exactly helping spacing. If Keshon isn’t attacking I’m not sure where you think our offense comes from.
It’s not just that he’s forcing the issue it’s that he forces it extremely early in the shot clock, many times without even passing the ball first. He plays like he’s Russell Westbrook and he’s not

No one truly thought he was going to go through Big 12 defenses like he did the Lindenwood's and Green Bay's of the world....did they?
No. I think we've seen a more realistic learning curve for our mid major guys this year. Keshon has flashed more than Pav and C Jones, as expected, but all have struggled against P6, save for Iowa and DePaul which is we're being honest don't really count. As Isu fans, we were spoiled by DeAndre Kane coming in and dominating from the mid major level. I think many fans put these unfair expectations on incoming transfers ever since. Reality is the overwhelming majority of successful transfers over the years for us have been the ones that come from other P6 schools. Jones, Pav, and Gilbert may not realize full potential until next season.

Not going to overreact to losing on the road to BYU. But where do we get offense from this team to win games on the road in the Big 12?
Slow it down and get it inside to our bigs. Same as at Hilton. If the shots not there kick it out and try again. Have to learn how to not get sped up. When it happens on offense, seems to carry over to the defense

The basket was as big as the ocean for them tonight. Quite a few were wide open looks. But a smaller few were just the tip your cap type.

TJ mentioned Tamin has ice on his shoulder, and that they'll evaluate and do what's best for his health. Mentioned it's been ongoing?
On the post game theres been a problem with that shoulder in the past then later in the game tonight he got knocked to the floor and dinged it up. Hopefully some rest and rehab and he will be good Sat. That last sentence is me being hopefull, no inside knowledge.

I don't think we win the game had Ward not been ejected, but they just abused us in the paint after he left. Probably a 4-6 point swing

Kane was a grown ass man!

Let's hope they all learned something. The road isn't getting any easier in this meat grinder league. Definitely getting some weaknesses exposed that they can use going forward.
