Just landed im Dallas and looked at box score. How in the f$%^ do ypu turn a team over 29 times lose?

I was told it was just a myth, a doomsday scenario that no one could take seriously. Then, I watched it happen.

Immediate thoughts:

Fun, fun game. Emotionally draining. Team just ran out of gas in the end. Proud of the comeback. But they shouldn’t had been down 21 in the first place

Pick up the pieces and move on. But I think the ceiling may be a sweet 16 for this squad

I hate this team. We return the best backcourt in America, supposedly added better front court help, and we are worse than last year.

Just like 2021 in football, all that talent coming back and they are worse. Same thing with Prohms first year. Beat roster we've ever had and even worse than before. Getting tired of it.

Not just worse than last year, but worse than last year in a weaker conference.

I have to say I am impressed by BYU. After our huge comeback to take the lead after their 20 point lead, most other teams would be too impacted mentally to stick to their game, but BYU just kept attacking, and getting long rebound, and bullying us. They are playing like a buzzsaw right now, and we literally gave EVERYTHING we had to try to win, but they are the better team. It sucks.

Big kudos on the comeback but at the same time you should never be down 20+ at home. Rebounding killed us despite forcing what seemed like a million turnovers, disappointing. Hoping they can snag a win at Kstate to maintain a 2 seed for tourney. Side note Keita is gonna be in everyone’s nightmares I have to imagine.

I’m trying to work though the math in my head of how you can play a full 40 minute game plus two overtime’s and only get 24 rebounds. .

Nate Schmidt needs to take a long look in the mirror. Game should have never even gone to a second OT. Multiple opportunities to draw up a game winning play and just not capable of doing it

To be kind of fair, wasn’t the first one the one that Jefferson couldn’t even catch the pass? No idea if it was a good play or not, but dude literally took his eyes off the ball.

Only way we aren’t the 5 seed is if we win Saturday and Utah beats BYU at byu. Not happening.
