I haven't watched a single BYU game or even any highlights. Somebody tell me about this 6'9" freshman pg. I do see that he's not a very good 3-pt shooter.

He excels at the pick and roll. The placement and timing of his passes from the pick and roll have been very good lately.

From what I've seen they're very similar to last year. Lengthy guards that get out and shoot quickly. Defensively not great metrics but can tighten up at times.

Franchilla says he’ll be a one and done lottery pick. Great vision and passing feel. Not much of a distance shooter yet

BYU has some long athletic guys which traditionally has been a struggle, however, they do not have much depth/size inside. Presidents/Chat should have a big day.

They also dont turn teams over much, so I expect KG to go off for 20+

Also, **** richie saunders

If we win does that lock up the double bye in for KC, or do we still need to win on Saturday?

He looks like a freshman at times but his raw talent is easy to see.
He probably won’t be jaw dropping good in this game (I hope I don’t regret typing that) but his future is very bright.

Nah if anyone is going to kill us it will be Saunders or that little white point guard who started for them last year but is their 6th man now, Dallin Hall.

Meant to post in this thread:

BYU has the best Against The Spread record in the Big 12. We are #2.

BYU is hot and will have our full attention.

BYU is Meh on the road. Some good. Some bad. But it’s mostly the Defense that struggles on the road.

Our numbers at Full Strength are strong.

Our numbers vs Ranked Opponents are strong

Our numbers at home are strong

Factor in Senior Night.
(for THIS YEAR’s Seniors)

Computers and Vegas love the Cyclones.

Can’t go against A.I. and Bugsy Siegel.

BYU 72
ISU 85

If you don’t like the spread, you can always take Cyclones over 79.5 points-125.

BYU are an offensive machine lately. This is gonna be a tough one but Iowa State should win if they play their game and cut down on those damn turnovers.

[/QUO won't play until Thursday with a win tonight but need to win Saturday and have Arizona or tech lose a game to get to the Thursday evening session otherwise it's 11:30 am on Thursday.

The downside really is the turnovers. BYU doesn't force many, but we tend to have a ton of unforced ones. You cannot give the hot offensive team a bunch of extra possessions, you must take care of the ball. Average or better rebounding and turnover prevention is a must.
