Reports are Steele had previously requested to be assigned a new roommate because he was not comfortable with his roommate, but Florida was slow to respond. Steele’s roommate was then accused of two assaults. Steele and another teammate actually walked in on one of the assaults and stopped it. He is obviously trying to leave a very toxic situation. Talk about a bad freshman roommate experience.
