All is true but he is one hell of a talent that most teams would love to have. It's like having a diva WR in the NFL, if he's on your team you love him but any other team and you hate him.

I honestly don't think I'd like him if he were a Cub, even if he did perform. It's beyond diva, and just childish "in your face" crap. The complete opposite of a professional.

I dont disagree with you. Just pointing out we shouldnt be throwing stones in a glass house.

May i ask if you also dislike harper's swagger and passion he plays with?

Puig is no Harper. But he acts like he is all that. Harper I honestly have no problem with. The dude is an All Star, and proven, and in my opinion his mannerisms on the field don't compare with Puig. Puig "kissing" his batting coach, calling his shot, flipping his bat whether it's a home run or not, runs very thin.

Didn't Harper have some bat flipping of his own?

Yes, but Harper is a guy I think I'd enjoy grabbing a beer with, and has demonstrated he is about more than just himself (see Vegas support prior to the Nats-Cubs series). Puig, not so much. My sample size with Puig is it's all about Puig.

Who gives a **** what he does? He’s not hurting anyone. He’s just a big personality.

You are entitled to your opinion. But just a big personality? In my opinion (and I'm entitled to it) it's more than just personality. It's amateurish bs. It's all about Puig.

Amateurish? I don’t get that at all. He’s just different than the norm.

Like I said, you are entitled to your opinion. But when I am watching games with my 11-year-old son, I know which players I am hoping he is wanting to emulate. And Puig isn't one of them. Most players are all about the game, their teammates, and respecting the other team. That's my definition of professional.

I’m not saying you have to be like him, but on the field his flair is nothing more than that. He’s not the first to do it, and he certainly won’t be the last. NFL has a hundred like him, it’s just not as prevelant in baseball.

"it’s just not as prevelant in baseball." I'm glad for that. And in my opinion, it's more than just flair. Same kind of crap as Baker Mayfield pulls if you ask me. Just play, get excited, but be respectful, win or lose.

Then you should hate the old school throw at the other team for revenge, correct?
