The previous staff struggled to even get a defensive lineman on campus, let alone signed. Campbell and company are doing a hell of a job.

I've gone from impressed to amazed. This is what so many other programs have enjoyed on signing day for all these years. If these guys can raise the player development level and then just be competent in the coaching/teaching and gameday elements, we're going to be bowling again, and probably sooner than we think. I love it.

I don't even know what to think about getting all these OL *and* DL players -- with other P5 options -- signed to Iowa State today. The volume is astounding.

A new coach usually get a few extras due to transfers out and other typical things happening with coaching changes.

I like that we are recruiting the standard B1G recruiting areas offering a chance to play in the Big12 instead of the ones who were passed over in Texas.

We can count up to four back against last year, as long as they are open, in addition to up to 25 February signees. Others must technically be walk-ons until things shake out after Fall camp and it's time to enroll for the semester in August.
