Defense just plain sucks today. Take away that interception and missed wide open pass that was missed by Okie State and it would be 21-0 right now.

We have really melted down since that Breece Hall run. Championship teams put events behind. Still lots of time to go, but we look like we took a punch and have not recovered.

Spencer Sanders is not this good (he's not bad so I am not saying that), and their offense is just rolling now.

Ugh, defense really looks bad today.

The defense has been fine other than 3rd and long. It's not the players' fault when the coaches refuse to rush at least 4 guys.

It's been a problem every year Campbell has been here. It's fine to have a "3-4" base, but exclusively bringing 3 guys, let alone on 3rd and long DOES NOT WORK. After 7 seconds someone either becomes open or the QB scrambles (as we saw here) due to ample running lanes and all the defenders downfield.

I mean, this scheme has NEVER worked, at least when we aren't getting pressure (which is most of the time against quality opponents). At some point you can't keep pissing on an electric fence and expect different results.
