What makes you so confident is it strictly confidence? Or are you meaning in the sense of getting back to just being poor on offense.

for which one? Maybe it’s not a confidence thing but to me Kunc looked like he didn’t want to take any shots yesterday when he had good opportunities. Gabe in my opinion is dribbling timidly (see him losing the dribble in the second half) and personally I think any shooter good enough to put up numbers like he has in the past, can go through slumps where it’s more mental than anything else.

I'm not understanding. Is 6 attempts really that many? It is in line with being a 3 and D player off the bench. 11% of our FG attempts- it arguably needs to be more even if we were not limited.

He's basically soph/jr Naz. A good player.
I haven't looked at the analytics enough to know if your grading checks out. Imagine it does. If so, surprising to me and I guess I'm not yet sold on CG having always on green light for turn around catch and shoot threes.

Know he got hot in Creighton game, but feel like I'd need to see a bit more. Would've loved a few more attempts from Jaz and even a few more from Gabe.

agree with you on seeing more attempts from jaz. He was open a couple times yesterday and passed up the shot. I could see less from Gabe though (I’d rather see him take it to the rack a few times first to be honest). Gabe is 4 for his last 24 from deep dating back to the creighton game btw and shooting 23.3% from 3 on the year. Grills is shooting 42.9 % from 3 while putting up only 4 less threes than Gabe

He’s a good player. I think it a little hyperbole to allude to him acting like McGee out there. He played commensurate to his ability imo.

Gabe needs to take layups and go from there imo

Not sure where you're getting McGee reference.

Would've loved to see a couple more of those attempts from him collected and in rhythm. If we're going to run action for him.

I’m saying you’re exaggerating what his role was yesterday, and his shot selection.

We didn’t really run much action for him. If anything Grill needs a bigger role and more usage.

Making up crap and arguing for argument sake. See................

Give him some time he will start arguing with himself.
Never, you’re always willing to be fodder.

About Grill though. Nothing out of line with his role yesterday, do you agree? Or do you just want to talk about your feelings?

I hate Baylor, but I’ve always liked Scott Drew as he has always had really good things to say about Iowa State. Especially during March madness many years ago in the Fred years, when he asked Cyclone fans to stay and cheer for Baylor. I have been unable to find his comments or a press conference after the game. Does anyone have a link?

I don't have a link but it sounds like you are talking about the 2014 tournament in San Antonio.
