Baylor has hit a ton of contested, well-defended shots. It's painful to see.

This team won't win many games giving up ~40 in a half. Defense was very good early in the half, then seemed to fall off late.

Enaruna and Brockington are both playing outstanding, need tons of minutes and at least for Brock, frequent ball touches. Grill needs more catch/shoot opportunities.

Turnovers and letting number zero in the boards is killing us

This Akinjo must be pretty good huh? Scorer at Georgetown and Arizona. Score at Baylor.

If Hunter ever develops a floater, we will be able to hang with anyone. Oth
Guy who shoots 54% from the free-throw line: nothing but net in every attempt so far.
Yeah. Seems like everyone on Baylor can't miss. ISU might be lucky to only be down 8 at the break. Surely someone on BU will cool down in 2nd half.

Am I crazy that I think we still have a shot? They have at LEAST ten points coming at end of the shot clock. We aren't hitting anything.

Unless Baylor goes REALLY cold I'm not sure. They're not just scoring at will but they're super patient and finding fitting shots.

Someone 'disagreed' with me posting earlier that Baylor's been open on their 3s and I'm not sure what's there to disagree about.

Baylor is on a different level right now, that said if we keep zero off the boards we are right there

We can be 9 points better than Baylor next half, that's like them missing two end of clock shots and ISU just making a couple threes.

It's not like this is something they can not overcome.

We're right there. Sustain our effort and clean up a few things and we can give ourselves a chance.

8 point game is pretty good to the #1 team in the country and Gabe K and Hunter being turnover machines in the first half. If those two clean it up in the second, I like ISUs chances of keeping it close with a chance to win.

This game might end up being a losing effort but it gives me hope for the rest of the conference season. How many other teams will knock down this many shots against us?

Gotta make more than one three, that’s not going to cut it…we had several open ones

They have 39 and I thought our defense was pretty good. Difference Baylor made tough shots and when they got open looks they swished them. Unlike Gabe’s wide open looks.
