Gonna be looking for a quality office chair soon, the only one I've bought is a cheap one with plastic casters.

After a good quality chair (but not executive style) with rubber casters to protect our laminate flooring. Just need some suggestions on local places with good selections. Thx.

Welter Storage on Douglas in Urbandale has an excellent selection of both new and used office furniture at reasonable prices.

Storey Kenworthy has a ton. They used to have sort of a bargain bin as well, for older chairs that they got back from clients.

I got the AllSteel "Trooper" from them a few years ago for my work. I love it.

But the best chair I EVER sat in was the Herman Miller Aeron chair. Adjustable in anyway, and breathable so you could sit there forever without any discomfort.

It was awesome, but when I looked into it - crazy expensive.

Agree with this ^^^. Had one at my first job out of school, man I loved that chair.

FYI, they can run close to a grand from Herman Miller, but can be found on the interwebs for $500-$700 or so.

You want a Herman Miller Aeron.

I sit in one every day. It's the best chair I've ever sat in. They last forever too. I know we've had some of them around the office for nearly 10 years, and they are almost indistinguishable from brand new ones, even being sat in every day.

We have some cheaper chairs that are half as old and twice as beat up.
