Say it isn't so!!

I remember going to the one in Champaign, IL. :D Business trip to see a guy about buying some equipment and we ended up there later that afternoon. Guy was from Champaign and still to this day says it was the best Hooter's experience he's ever had. I remember the one in DSM until it became a Jethro's.

I actually liked their wings. I didn't mind the waitresses but hated the fake schmoozing they did.

Wasn't there an ISU grad that was a co-founder or initially quite high in the Hooters company?

Their business model was simply outdone by Twin Peaks and then BDubs arrived to take away another big chunk of market share for those that did not want to take kids to Hooters.

LOL, that South Park episode with Raisins was a classic.
Lol. It reminds of one time I went to that West Des Moines Hooters way back when. One of my high school classmate's sister was working there and looked good. She was younger though and it kind of skeeved me out. Totally felt like I was at Raisins even though she was well endowed.

Yes and 2008 UNLV football game was great due to this.

According to the "original hooters group" which included Iowa State Alum, Ed Droste and Clearwater, FL based management company, HMC Hospitality Group", that's not true for their restaurants.

That's got to create a lot of confusion when it comes to gift cards being honored

Their wings were good. Hell even my wife liked their wings but would never step foot inside the place other than to get a carry out order.
