I agree Wx... The big games for the 2600 were pitfall, river raid, kaboom, and ice hockey. Those were by far the best games for the 2600.

Radio Shack...complete with 2 controllers and a gun so you could play skeet. I have a 5200 around here somewhere...Games were good but the controllers sucked.

I loved that space dungeon game for the 5200, I spent HOURS playing that. And that space fighting game, I cannot remember what it was called, but it was the first person view game where you had to shoot all the enemy ships down, you could get better lasers, etc.

The game that changed everything for me was Elite for the commodore 64, and Amiga. I think I played that game 8 hrs a day for years.

Ah, the Commodore. Grab the DAT drive, start the game loading before school so that we can play it when we get home.

Ah, the Commodore 64, now that was a computer!!!!

I even stored programs on a cassette tape.

Now that I think of it, I even had a 300 and I repeat a "300" baud modem. Now that was a speed demon!!!

Commodore had two separate chips - one 1mhz for graphcs and 1 mhz for the engine. Wow, that baby cranked out.

Don't forget about the Intellevision, I spent many an hour playing Astrosmash, Baseball, and Space Spartans

Recently I saw an Intellivision console at Bed, Bath & Beyond (shut up). You could get the entire Intellivision game catalog on a single system for $10.

Best game ever: Caveman Games! With such as events as the Mate toss and my personal favorite, fire starting. Nothing like getting hammered while competing with your friends to start a fire.
