It would be great if they at least did the last 5 minutes of the half and game. Like Osky went up 1 over Winterset and then were just going to dribble the ball out with two minutes. So Winterset had to foul. That is ridiculous.

Believe me, I'm all for a shot clock and the excuses both unions give are pathetic. I wish high school girls would mimic the college game, and high school boys would add a shot clock.

Watching teams "run their offense" for a minute before even attempting to shoot is awful.

Case in point 1A boys title game 14-6 at half.

It’s the same thing to me as if Iowa played without a three point line. Without a shot clock it’s not even basketball at that point. It’s a 4-5 year old YMCA day camp.

i will watch it on iptv

I wish! That contract they signed is a PITA for a casual HS BB fan. Enjoyed watching the girls tourney on IPTV last wk though. Maybe not perfect production but pretty darn good.

Behind you
Team quality is down in 3A this year and I might take Samake over everyone named above.

Never seen him in AAU but I've seen him twice at HS tourney and haven't been that impressed. Seen him play against pretty weak 1A competition where you'd think he would dominate and aside from the occasional power dunk and being able to out-rebound 6'3 centers from small country schools I don't think he's been all that special.

Totally agree. This kid is being recruited on pure potential and not what he can do now.

Tyler Endres- Norwalk. 4 star offensive lineman. Does a good job playing basketball. I was sad to see him pic Iowa but being Chris Streets relative I saw it coming. Wears number 40 in honor of Chris

Did he switch numbers?

Unless Foster gets a mean streak in him, I think he’ll be a bust at the next level.

I wouldn’t say bust, but I think expectations for him would need to be tempered. A lot of highly ranked big men don’t play up to their rank in college. Just seems like their development time frame is different. And if they do live up to the hype they’re gone to the NBA before making an impact.

In my eyes, Foster is George Conditt with a little bit more outside skill. Don’t see the 5 star talent yet but as stated above, it’s all on potential.

This Bowen Born kid is fun to watch. Too tiny for ISU to jump in, but he’s holding his own.

Osky guards are not very good. Would love to see Foster running the court with some good guard play.

Those two would be a hell of a frontcourt.

That was a great game.

Born will be a great player wherever he ends up. If he was 6-2 he’d have an extremely impressive offer list.

Henry will be a stud in the MVC, I’m really impressed by his feel for the game and he’s a better athlete than people give him credit for.

Foster has all the potential in the world but doesn’t have it all put together right now. He could be an NBA star or a college bust, it’s really hard saying right now.
