Just FYI, you can still drop off your kids but they will no longer let you back in to Hilton via University anymore to pick up young kids or anything. Got totally surprised by this tonight and had a real experience with a CSC guy.

In the past, have you been able to go against traffic after a game in order to pick up kids at Hilton? That sounds like it would have been difficult even if they let you try.

I’m sure you can do that if you wait until everyone else leaves the parking lot.

If old enough, have the kids walk over to the drive off Beach between CY Stephens and the Iowa State Center. Or even pick them up off Beach. That may be a good alternative.
Hope you find a workable solution.

I've done it the last 8 years. I usually leave the game fairly early to swing around. Usually don't start doing it until it gets really cold but the toddler isn't feeling well and we wanted to keep him out of the wind as much as possible.

Only if I’m pulling around to get the kids because I want to be respectful of those people trying to get out. My wife stays to finish the game with the kids. I left with 7 minutes left in the game yesterday.

A viable solution might be to have them take the walkway past Scheman and pick them up on the west side on CY Stephens.

I guess what you do on your free time is your own business.

So all the old people leaving with 5 minutes left in the game are just picking up their grandkids...

Guess you don't run the parking. People trying to come in when everyone else was leaving on the same road was crazy.
