What do you want to see in the coming year?

NCAA wins? Football wins? Life resolutions?

I want to finish Assassin's Creed before next August.

Not get ****** at people who think they own the grocery store aisle or those who are oblivious that other people in the grocery store exist.

Admittedly, it was my NY Resolution last year but I didn't do too good.

I'm limiting refined sugars.

By limiting, I mean I'm not going to go ape **** and not have ketchup or salsa, for example, because of a few grams added in here or there.

But my goal is to definitely avoid the pre-packaged snacks, candies, sugary cereals, and other baked goods...

Nah, nah, nah, man...resolutions are supposed to be for improving yourself, not getting better at accepting other people's shortcomings.

I hate this....Person pushing cart down the aisle, stops on side A, then backs their (usually fat) arse across the aisle to side B and bends over to look at a product on side A and then takes 5 minutes to choose one, oblivious that anyone else exists until you're right next to them then they look at you with dinner plate eyes like you're a ninja or something and snuck up on them.

Those people need to resolve to not be morons.

Don't forget to make up or commit to a new year resolution :wubclub:

Thanks for the reminder...I'm going to shut this computer more often and enjoy the hell out of my family. Some sacrifices and schedule things meaning we'll spend more time all together.

Hells yah...

Wishing you and Erik a blessed new year.

this reminds me to look over my list from last year - I think I accomplished most of it for once! The big one was to lose weight, and I started going to the gym quite a bit and lost about 10lbs and gained a lot of muscle, which is pretty noticeable when you're a fun-sized. Probably want to finish off that resolution this year and hmm, probably start house hunting, I guess! Holy ****, I just realized we had set 2014 as our TTC year. That's NEXT YEAR (in 62 minutes). Holy ****. That may get pushed back. Maybe I will try to become a more competent cook this year.

sorry, Trying To Conceive. Meaning that I could shortly be responsible for another little human being. We all know that's a bad idea.

Well, I'm responsible for two currently (2.5 years and almost 4 months)...so clearly maturity isn't required.

*edit: Just for the record "currently" is only referring to the results to this point, and is in no way an indication of future performance.

You resolutionists make me laugh, especially when so many goals involve doing fewer fun things. Just once I would love to hear someone say they're going to eat more red meat, start smoking, or spend less time at the gym. Life's for living

but I want to live longer so I can do all those fun things :) Hey, going to the gym makes you feel happier in a swimsuit. That leads to lots of fun things!
