I was totally confused when I finally found it on the tv...

At first it I thought we were wearing free Pioneer gear...but no...

Front should have said Stirriators instead of Cyclones. (If you're not a farmer it's going over your head....and I guess they call them Fastir Stirring Machine's now?)

No Cardinal and Gold is an issue. Tuned in and started routing for northern Illinois because they have red trim. No discernible branding on tv. The color looks like possum turd green. I wish the jerseys looked as cool in the game as the video is.

I was looking for a new color to paint the family room - "opossum turd green" it is.

They are definitely not green, might want to adjust your tvs. I thought they were okay but not great. Something cool would be if they did cardinal but with the silver letters/numbers they used with these ones.

I showed this to my (non-ISU graduate) wife.

She spends much of her spare time keeping up with the fashion world.

She said they were hideous.

Was at the game. I kept thinking NIU (white) was ISU, and ISU (gray) was Baylor!! Others around me agreed.

At least two former players (Darrell Bowie and Jameel) have commented on Twitter how much they liked these unis. Obviously you can complain about them as much as you like, but the players like them.

For the record, I actually didn't mind the grey football unis because they had that bold cardinal numbering and names on them.
Tonight, though, it really did feel like NIU was wearing OUR uniforms. If they keep the grey, could they at least add cardinal & gold numbers & names?

I'm watching replay of second half on Watch-E, uniforms look like Philadelphia Eagles colors. I'm sure there's a bit of screen-tone inaccuracy, but other "control set" colors look fairly normal --- cardinal/gold tones on the court, Pioneer logo looks like its normal green.

It honestly felt like we were watching the cyhawk game a few days early. It was bizarre.
