Hello everybody-

I live out of state and am planning a road trip with a few buddies to the KSU vs. ISU game in October. We have a total of 7 people in our group for the game.

Here's my dilemma:

My buddy's wife is wants to go but she's used to the finer things in life and won't go unless I can get lower deck seats between the 30s. And if she doesn't go, my buddy doesn't go.

I know I'll get plenty of responses telling me to have her hit the bricks (and it may come to that) but I need ideas first. I'm not as concerned about price as I am finding 7 seats together. I don't know that I can get 7 single game tix together through the ISU ticket office.

I want to get a head start on planning this and figured I'd approach the fine populace here and see if anyone had any other ideas (or extra tickets) I could use to set this up. Or if you think I can get them through the tix office once season tix go on sale that'd be good to know too.

Thanks!

You can get 7 through the ticket office, it just won't be between the 30s in the lower bowl.

You can get tix between the 30s in the lower bowl, but you probably won't get 7 together.

If it was me? Buy the upper deck tickets, should get 7 together. Tell her they are in the lower deck. Once you are at the game you are at the game.

She will live.

I called a couple weeks ago to check and see what was available for the K State game (in laws are coming for the game). I'm a season ticket holder and sit between the 30's. Best they could get me was lower level around the 10 and that was for 2 seats only. So good luck finding 7 seats together. Secondary market is probably the only way, and I doubt you will find 7 together. Best would be to split into two groups.

Upper deck is better any way. Look online there are always opposing fans in our section and we are on 50 yd line upper deck. Likely will have to split your group up a little as said before.

Stubhub appears to have that many tickets together - both upper and lower deck. Be prepared to pay through the nose for lower level (~$220/ticket).

Love the idea that you are coming, but it is pretty late to be planning for what you want unless you are loaded. If you are loaded, then Stub Hub (or Stub Hub type sites) are the only options I know.

I see the tickets you're talking about in the lower level... and those are section 12 if anyone is wondering (10-20yl).

Just about no way to get 7 tickets within the 30s lower deck.

(Full disclosure, i have 2 of the tickets available in section 11 up on stubhub right now)

Thanks for all the advice.

I'm thinking I'll just call my buddy and tell him that I talked to some people who reguarly go to football games, and getting that many seats in the lower deck is going to be next to impossible unless we shell out over $200/ticket (and at that price some of the other people going would drop out anyways).

If she's still adamant about the seats, I'll take a long shot and try to order some through the ISU tix office when they go on sale next week. Otherwise I'll just tell them it's not happening.

Thanks for the input.
