I'm a Bears fan. The football Gods hate me.

1st round draft drought finally broken. McDonald to the Jets. Don't care for them but I'll get over it considering they have 3 Cyclones. But who is the quarterback? Aaron Rodgers. I don't know if I have it in me to cheer for him.

Well, consider toughing it out as he'll probably only be their QB for one year.

A New York Jets forum on Cyclone Fanatic ... never in my nearly 40 years of Jets fandom would I ever have expected to read those words!

There have been a LOT of lean years along the way. For all the new Jets fans hopping on the bandwagon... enjoy the ride, we'll make room!

I’ve been a fan since the 90s so I (almost) feel your pain. Could you send me the NY Clones file? I’d love to make a few shirts with it. I can pm you my email.

I became a Jets fan as an 11 year old kid during the 1981 season. I remember being so excited as they started the season bad, then finished on a 9-2 streak to make the playoffs, which was their first playoff appearance since Namath, I believe.

Then they fumbled the opening kickoff of the wild card game for a Bills touchdown, fell behind 24-0, came back to make it close but threw an interception near the goal line in the waning seconds. That game should have amply prepared me for being a lifelong Jets and Cyclones fan! :)

Things are looking up for both squads (last season's ISU results notwithstanding) and I love my teams, even if they have caused me to need therapy! :D

It was like Kiper knew what was coming. And he even got to rub it in the face of McShay.
Kiper strikes me as kind of an ass, but the other guy was being an ass to him on the air, I thought. So I kind of chuckled when the pick came in and he got a chance to poke back.

I don't mind Kiper. McShay is an ass. Skip Bayless is really bad.

There is already a New York CYCLONES team and has been since 2001.
