Re: NDSU v Iowa State 2014 (after NDSU wins 3rd title & 43-2!)

NDSU finishes #29 in final AP poll and #17 sagarin. 13 of 22 starters will be back and 235 days til NDSU/ISU

That's quite a while.

How 'bout this, you stay off this board until August 15th and when you come back we all try really hard to give a **** about NDSU...deal?

NDSU just got a Nebraska RB transfer King Frazier. watch out cyclones! he's big ten ready and will play at iowa state first game, along with our senior RB John Crockett (who was a Michigan state recruit)

Call us when you travel with 50-55,000. That's what they Clones take to their Bowls.

Puny RB? they are both 6 foot 200 lbs. not exactly puny my boy!

NDSU will have 7 returning defense starters on the #5 ranked defense in D 1 football, that's what you should worry about.

So, you lose half your starters, mostly on offense, correct? Yeah, I'm shaking in my boots...

Why were you on here worrying about the ISU game when your team was about to play for a title? Seems weird.

Re: NDSU v Iowa State 2014 (after NDSU wins 3rd title & 43-2!)

QB position will reload
RB Crockett 3 year starter, Nebraska RB
WR Vraa 3 year starter, best WR, with 2 soph slots
TE Vadeland 3 year starter
OLine 2 starters back with 3 that rotated a lot.

NDSU will be find on offense, just limit turnovers and move chains, that's all that needs to be done.

on here during our championship?? I posted this the off week before cause I was already looking ahead to ISU, I knew we'd 3 peat, YAWNNN.

The only time I would be worried about NDSU coming to JTS is if they started wearing purple and gold.

Seriously you are an FCS team. Outside of a few teams like Iowa State nobody even knows who you are. They don't respect you at all. If an FBS team however bad loses to a FCS team however good it is still deemed a bad loss. It isn't going to change until you move up so you can't talk trash. Move up and then you can, but if you would move up you wouldn't be good so you wouldn't like that.

NDSU sucks and you're making the fans look similar to Iowa.

NDSU's a good team. Knocking them for being FCS is ridiculous, since they win games over FBS teams year after year.

With Mangino here, I think we can move the ball and score this year. But this is a game we can't take for granted just because they're FCS.

I think they should be viewed as a good opponent, but they aren't and that isn't going to change unless they move up. If they want to talk crap then move up, but until then don't. It would be one thing if they were an in-state rival but they aren't so no. I'm not guaranteeing a win by any means, but that doesn't change the fact that they are an FCS school. In college football that means they are second class. Whether it is valid or not they are still second class.

If you call a championship program second class after a 3-9 season, you're doing it wrong.

Moving up isn't as easy as you're saying. That's not something that you just do. That takes openings, opportunities, and whatever variables are out there.

If they want to feel like they're going to win, good. That's what being a fan is going to do.
If you want to be arrogant to a program that's accomplished something from one that hasn't done anything, that's totally backwards.

So the basic fundamentals and goal of every offense in football. Gotcha

If he was Big 10 ready, he wouldn't be leaving a Big 10 program. He's NOT Big 10 ready would be more appropriate.

This thread's post count is approaching the amount of people who care about NDSU.

Re: NDSU v Iowa State 2014 (after NDSU wins 3rd title & 43-2!)

Living in Fargo is painful at times. The NDSU fanbase is comprised of 15% realistic fans, 25% t-shirt fans that don't know what is going on and couldn't name a player outside of Brock Jenson, and 60% that think they are God's gift to football.

NDSU has a good football program with a few players that have FBS talent. But it is much easier to win that 1 game a year against an FBS team that is on the schedule than it is to play an entire season against it.

Looking forward to Aug. 30, 2014 and putting the Bison back in their place.
