I like Paniro’s path, but we know his bouts will be close.

Going to be tough for Evan. If he can get by Oakley (far from a gimme) then he has Bailey, who admittedly hasn’t looked great either. Not counting him out until he is.

Chittum has a gettable path, Askey really worked him last year so that could be an interesting match up.

MJ with by far the toughest match up both stylistically and Pinto is likely just bigger/stronger. Things set up well if he could pull it off, somebody is going to their back in that match.

Rooting hard for Riggins. His improvement is obvious.

MJ has looked good this tournament pushing the pace. If he can hang into the third, things could open up for him with Pinto after weigh ins.

Quarterfinal matches will be on the interior mats (3-6). This might be the round that they (TV) start holding until all matches finish before progressing to the next weight.

Consolation matches on the exterior mats (1,2,7,8). No holding.

That is key, Pinto off the scales rather than at night, MJ gets it done. He might be losing when he gets the pin, but he will find a way!

Parco MFFs out
Which match did Iowa lose a team point? Parco gave them 1 point and Temmer 0. Combined they got 1 team point at nationals and might have been a net 0 after losing a team point. I've been vocal on loving the guys we have on our roster like the Frost boys. Hopefully we continue to develop talent and get results. Bockman and Riggins have been great additions though without causing headaches or drama
