He didn’t do anything. The lights were perhaps a little bright. Of course, he should be redshirting. Will be fun to see him after a RS next year.
Nothing to do with the lights. Kieter is just significantly better. Good experience for Herrera and hope he can close the gap with a redshirt season.

pnut just needs time in the room and hes gonna be a monster
Hopefully he will have a solid 17+ months to work. Getting thrown into action as a true Frosh and getting a ticket to the dance is a great starting point! Does the RTC have anyone who will be a good training partner for Top/Bottom? Yonger will be great for work on the Feet.

Was always going to be a rough year at NCAA's after the injuries piled up. Hope a couple of these guys can bounce back with wins on the backside and we get a couple deep runs. Some fun matchups coming up.

Frost vs Mcgonagle: Another fun one.

Frost vs Alirez: Oh boy, no idea here. Frost looked great first round, Alirez started kind of slow but he's Alirez. I hope Frost hangs with him and has it close in the third to give himself a chance.

Johnson vs Buesgens (20 seed NC State): No idea about his opponent, but hopefully Johnson can rebound and make a run on the backside.

Chittum vs Kasak: I know Chittum can hang with anyone, not feeling great about his chances here but still looking forward to it.

Riggins vs not sure: Not sure who he has from the pigtail match.

Gaitan vs Wask: Wask tech falled his guy, Gaitan going to have to limit the craziness and wrestle sound and he can win.

Bockman vs (I think) 29 seed out of Princeton: Bockman doesn't look right, won't be surprised to see a loss here.

Herrera vs 21 seed Bullock of Indiana: Don't know anything about Bullock, but should be winnable, would like to see Herrera get one before he's done.

Edit: Got ahead of myself here.

All 4 of the Iowa guys that transferred to other schools and qualified lost. Including 3 at SDSU.
Everyone wanted to give Iowa crap when these guys left, but the fact is they’re not good enough to be wrestling at Iowa.

Frost vs Bailey: Bailey won a very close match, he's going to be wide awake after that one. Frost's match was a snoozer, I hope we see him come with a plan to get some vengeance.
Frost has McGonagle next. Potential quarters match with Bailey.

Riggins has to win the consi pigtail first.

You're an Iowa apologist. This is a Cyclone Fanatic message board. Just let us sh!t on them! :) no one else in here likes them!

The Virginia guy actually wrestled a very smart match vs PJ. Stalled in the first half without giving up a point, frustrated PJ & made him tentative, then was the aggressor the 2nd half and Paniro couldn't turn it back on when he needed to. Kind of a classic 'bad' PJ match.
