I did one of those body fat % tests once and it kept saying error... They said that's because I had less than 3%. I did one a few years ago and I was up to like 10% then.

Were you using bioelectric impedence to measure? If you were those measurements are completely worthless. Assuming you don't have access to extremely expensive equipment needed to do a highly accurate body fat %, calipers are the best "cheap"option.

Also talked about the value of experience and team oriented guys in second round picks to help fill in holes and with roster chemistry as opposed to the first round where it is all about potential, ceilings and pedigrees.

Remember the debates about whether it was okay to refer Ejim as a "glue guy?"

No idea what it was, but I'm assuming it was the "cheap" option.

Every time I see Melvin Ejim and think of his chances at the next level, it really depends on where he gets drafted. To me, he has a very similar skillset to Kawhi Leonard of the Spurs. A small forward who is a good rebounder and finisher and with decent 3-point range. If he were drafted by a team like the Spurs, I have no doubt that a coach like Popovich would get him in the right position to be successful. Now that I think about it, Popovich and Hoiberg are very similar in how they use their players to get the most out of them. That would be a great fit for Melvin!

Think melvin would be a good fit with the spurs. Not sure on the Leonard comparison though. When I think leonard the first thing I think of is defensive specialist

Loved when I heard the "glue guy" statement about Melvin back in the day. I needed that laugh in between watching a star dominate.

Kane and Ejim will be making some good money either way. I'm sure everyone would rather see them in the NBA, but if you have heart, effort, and can excel in Hoiball - you will make money playing somewhere.

Will Deandre reimburse me for the patron shot I got him after the big XII championship in KC? Maybe buy me a car?

Almost nobody has 0% body fat (the "ugliest woman in the world" lady is the only one I can think of) - too low is unhealthy. Fat is essential for the body to do its functions from skin maintenance, hormone development, etc. If you had 0% body fat, you'd be screwed. The lower limit for being healthy with it if you have an awesome diet and are in amazing shape is like 2-3% and even that's pushing it.

I know lol I was kidding. I think it's 3% for the lowest you can go without getting health problems.

Melvin could probably get an offer in a front office after the interviews with management....smarter than most that will be interviewing him.

if neither kane or ejim go early second round, i'd love for them to not get drafted so they could choose who to try out for.

No. It was a joke because of how late he thinks they will both get drafted. He's no troll, unlike twotroll (twocoach).

Got it. It went over my head.

I have a feeling that they would both be better off not getting drafted since it would be late 2nd at best. They are both "get on the right team" guys. Of course if the "right" team drafts them that would be the best but you know how that goes.

My prediction is Kane goes mid to late 2nd round. And Ejim won't get drafted.

The talking heads were talking as if Kane would be drafted by someone. Ejim's 3 point shooting from NBA range had to have turned some heads. I don't know if I've ever seen a player improve his long range shooting year to year as much as Ejim and it wouldn't surprise me if he's still getting better at it.

I kind of feel this way. I would love for them both to get drafted because of the exposure and validation, but would hate to have them drafted into a bad situation.

My prediction is everyone in the mid to late 2nd round are people we've never heard of and neither get drafted. Hope I'm wrong but after waiting to see if DG would get drafted I could see it happening
