Can we have another poll for choosing the best snarky answer? Voting for it being a mere coincidence wasn't very satisfying.

I didn't see the one from last week but the image from today is out there. The first one was borderline.

Based on the location of that, don’t rule out that he has pissed someone off and they’re putting screws into his tires.

Otherwise, does he have a workshop in the garage that he may not keep nice and tidy at all times? It might be he’s screwing himself.

This is why I avoid driving through areas with new houses going up. Plenty of construction materials get dropped on the streets.

THIS. Or if there's a house getting new roofing or new siding. My wife has picked up several nails over the last few years and it's always a roofing nail and it's always after a house in our neighborhood has gotten a new roof

On a much less expensive note, on Monday I went to put 3 different golf polos on that had all recently been through the laundry and all 3 were missing the middle button on the collar. I'm absolutely perplexed at how that could happen.
Did you look at them before putting in the washer?

New theory, he uses a tiny tire shop that is across from a strip club. Perhaps in April he decided to wander over and struck it up with one of the homegrown honeys and is now looking for ways to go see her that I won't find suspicious.
I'm my experience with that type they're cool people but uhhhh rough on the eyes.

My neighbor growing up was a roofer and roofing nails would inevitably end up on our shared driveway, probably patched our tires like a dozen times before he moved away.

Sidewall damage tends to happen most often when the tire picks up an object while going around a corner (like.. turning onto a side street from a main road). Often, after rain, the sand/dirt/screw/nail pile up a few inches from the curb from wherever they originated and sit waiting to damage tires.

I would suggest taking corners a little bit wider where possible.

We've had a ton of rain lately including hail that damaged roofs. This is actually the best info I've gotten across the people I've asked. This is actually helpful because I can both blame my husband and tell him how to fix it.

Back in '03 i took a job in IL. The first few weeks I lived out of a motel while we looked for a permanent place. One morning I had a flat, so I put on the spare and dropped off the tire to be repaired. When I picked it up later that day the tech said, "Yeah, somebody put these (x number of screws) in your tire."

I wonder if a spouse being cheated on mistook your car for the car of the other cheater. I'll go out on a limb and guess.....Nissan Altima.

If I had more than 1 screw I would have put it in more than 1 tire, people don't usually have 2 spares.

Have confirmed. When I said he could find less expensive ways to hide this habit he said he needed a cover for the $220 he's dropping each visit :D
