If we're going to back to the well with 90's rock era music, then I say we dust off Rage Against the Machine. Never gets old. A classic way to start the season.

There won't probably be very many hit tapes this year. With a 24/7 tv station they don't generally have the time with their staff.

Maybe they can try the behind the scenes kickoff special again. I know nothing fires me up for game day like a well executed documentary.

I thought Kansas actually did like a 40 min NFL Films type documentary every week like 3 or 4 years ago? I wish we could get something like that to hold us off each week. Granted that probably takes way more time and effort than a hit tape obviously. I say one of the dedicated fans on here should do it. We have lots of fans who make bball hit tapes.

I think they could just reuse this one every year. Even though its from 2 years ago, it still get me ready for football season.

That's what they said for last year, and I get that. But this year there is no excuse not to have some. The response to them is so universally positive and tons and tons of people post them on social media and it gets the fan base pumped up.
If they can't find a student on intern to help put them together that's a major failure on their part, no other way to say it.

Well of course every video is picked apart by a few people because it doesn't fit their tastes, but over the whole fanbase I think they are pretty much universally loved. And even among those who might be critical of one, they still understand how cool it is, how high quality the editing is, and how much work is put into them overall.
