There aren't a lot of songs from that year that I really "like," but there are some that I don't mind hearing at all (and one that hits close to home around these parts*).

"Suspicious Minds" - Elvis
"Sweet Caroline" - Neil Diamond*
"Hawaii Five-O" - The Ventures
"Galveston" - Glen Campbell
"I Heard It Through the Grapevine" - Marvin Gaye

Btw, this is 1969. I can't possibly be that old... :(

I'm pretty satisfied with 1974

The Joker - Steve Miller
Hooked on a Feeling - Blue Suede
Taking Care of Business - BTO
Radar Love - Golden Earring
Sundown - Gordon Lightfoot
Piano Man - Billy Joel
Sweet Home Alabama - Lynyrd Skynryd
Come Monday - Jimmy Buffet
I Shot the Sheriff - Clapton

Jailbreak - AC/DC (recorded in 1974, released a year later, but I'm claiming it cuz it's awesome)
