Missing ISU Student

dang....I saw the KCRG article earlier when it just said they located the vehicle they were looking for and were waiting for a warrant to open it up, and saw the old familiar location of "Dolphin Lake Point Enclave". As a Johnson County resident, I thought...sheesh, there's no way an asian college student was there in any good way, and hoped somehow the car just ended up there by being stolen or something, but crap...
For those not familiar, Dolphin Lake Point Enclave is in the heart of the seedy underbelly of the 'support system' for the Chicago kids coming to the U of I and their recreational activities.
ok, completely fair retraction from my earlier post after watching the video in the link from Whirlybirds..it sounds like they're thinking some sort of domestic thing, so my summary of Dolphin Lake Point Enclave, while accurate, may not be related in this unfortunate incident.

Too me it is sad that this story has received so little attention. I am afraid ISU has gotten much larger and human interest stories are lost.

I dont live up there from what I can tell it has recieved plenty of coverage. I have seen tweets/Facebook posts from ISU, ISU Police and KCRG on this. They reported what they knew and left it at that.
Nationally no it has not gotten any attention but without this coming out as racist....she is Chinese. There is no family standing in front of cameras begging for help finding their daughter.
I agree, but if movies taught me anything, his extradition will be a little something like this...
